This week the Midnight Watchers take a look at the 2001 Japanese horror film Kairo or Pulse (in America). Quentin calls it an existential horror film and it makes Koji sad because it reminds him how sad and Japan sometimes feels to him.

⠀⠀JACKIE ROBINSON broke color barriers and league records as the first African American baseball player in the MLB. His story of triumph through adversity changed not only baseball, but America too.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀HIDEO NOMO left a successful baseball career in Japan without so much as a Major League contract in America. But his success within his first season with the Dodgers opened the door for other Japanese players in the US.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
